Caring For Your Pieces

Ever wonder why your menai piece doesn’t have a care label…

… Because most of us just cut them out immediately. To minimize waste, the care instructions of your MENAI garments are included with the description of each piece on our website.  Please make sure you follow these when washing & caring for your item, to ensure long life.

All garments are made primarily with natural fibers (mainly cotton & linen), prioritizing sustainably sourced or recycled fabrics whenever possible. Exceptions are made for deadstock/remnant fabrics where composition can be unknown. My goal is to move to purely natural fibres, but in the present environment the pandemic has slightly limited the selection available to me (during this time I am also using leftover textiles that might otherwise end up in landfill).
